Pinterest Pin SEO Checker

Paste a pin’s title, description and link — add the image if you have it — and see how it scores out of 100 on everything you control, before you publish. You get the three fixes worth the most points, and a link to share the report.

0/100
0/500

We read its size, shape and format. The image itself is not stored.

100 points, six places to earn them

Each bar is one part of the pin, sized by what it is worth. After a check it fills to what your pin earned, so you can see where the points went.

Title
Keyword placement, length, and a clear reason to click.
Description
Length, keyword, related terms, a call to action, hashtag restraint.
Keywords
Whether title, description and landing page agree on what the pin is about.
Landing page
The page the pin links to: reachable, HTTPS, and about the same thing.
Image
A 2:3 portrait at 1000×1500 or better, in a format Pinterest takes.
Call to action
Whether the pin promises something the landing page delivers.
What it can and cannot tell you

A checklist with arithmetic, not a crystal ball

The checker is strict about what it scores and honest about what it cannot see.

It reads your landing page

Most pin checkers only look at the text you paste. This one opens the page your pin links to and checks that it agrees with the pin — the mismatch that quietly costs clicks.

It shows its working

Every point is traced to a check you can read, with the fix beside it. Fixes are ranked by what they are worth, so the first one is the best use of your next minute.

It does not see Pinterest

It uses no Pinterest data and makes no ranking prediction. A pin can score 100 and still need saves and time to travel — the score makes sure it starts from the best footing.

Questions

What people ask about this tool

Does a high score mean my pin will rank?
No, and no outside tool can promise that. Pinterest ranks pins on signals only Pinterest can see — how people engage with them, how fresh they are, the history of your account. This is an optimisation score: it checks everything you control on the pin itself, so the pins you publish give Pinterest the clearest possible picture of what they are about.
How is the score worked out?
By fixed rules across six groups worth 100 points: title 20, description 20, keywords 20, landing page 15, image 15 and call to action 10. There is no AI in the scoring, so the same pin and the same landing page get the same score. Every report records which version of the rules scored it, so an older shared report still explains its own number.
Why does it fetch the page my pin links to?
Because a pin that promises one thing and links to a page about another is a weak pin. The checker opens the page once and looks at whether it loads, uses HTTPS, has a title and H1 that match the pin, a canonical link, and enough content. If it cannot reach the page, that section is marked not scored rather than failed, and the rest of the report still counts.
What happens to my image and my text?
The image is read for its size, shape and format, then discarded — it is never stored. Your title, description and link are saved with the report so its share link works, and the report is deleted after 90 days. No account is created and nothing is sent to Pinterest.
Why can’t it rewrite the pin for me here?
Rewriting uses AI, and AI costs money on every run, so it lives inside Pinners Haven rather than on a free public page. The checker tells you what to fix; the free trial (no card) rewrites the title and description for you.

Want this automated?

Pinners Haven writes every pin to this checklist before it publishes — keyword-led titles, descriptions with a call to action, correctly sized original images — on an account-safe schedule. You stop checking pins and start shipping them.
