Pinterest Keyword Explorer
Pinterest keyword research, with the keywords coming from Pinterest itself: the terms it suggests for your topic, the searches related to them, and which ones are growing. Pick the ones worth targeting and they go straight into your pin content.
From a seed keyword to pins, in three steps
- 1
Connect your Pinterest account
Start a free trial and connect the Pinterest account you pin from. The explorer asks Pinterest on your behalf, with your own connection.
- 2
Type a seed keyword
Pick the topic and the country you publish for. Pinterest returns its suggested terms, the related searches around them, and what is trending.
- 3
Keep the ones worth targeting
The terms arrive merged and ranked, each marked with where it came from. Add the ones you want to a blog post and Pinners Haven writes pins for them.
One ranked list, every term labelled with its source
Terms that Pinterest suggests, relates and trends at once rise to the top. Nothing is invented to fill the list.

What people ask about this tool
- Why does it need my Pinterest account?
- Because Pinterest’s developer rules say so. Keyword suggestions and trends from Pinterest’s API may be shown to the person whose account fetched them, not published to anyone who visits a web page. So the explorer runs inside Pinners Haven with your own connected account, and what it finds is shown only to you. A free, no-login version would mean breaking those rules — which is why the free tools on this site use no Pinterest data at all.
- Where do the keywords come from?
- From Pinterest itself: the terms it suggests for your seed, the related searches around them, and its trends data. The explorer merges the three, removes duplicates, and ranks the result, favouring terms that appear in more than one source. Every term keeps a label saying where it came from.
- Does it show search volume?
- No, because Pinterest does not publish monthly search volumes through its API — it gives terms and a relative sense of which are growing. Tools that quote an exact Pinterest search volume are estimating. The explorer shows you what Pinterest actually provides and says so.
- Is it free?
- It is part of Pinners Haven, which you can try free with no card. Unlike the checkers on this site, it cannot run on a public page, for the reason above.
- What happens to the keywords I pick?
- You add them to a blog post, and they join the keywords Pinners Haven manages for it — each one turned into pin titles, descriptions and images until it is fully covered.
